Queensland Child Care Services (QCCS) has been operating for over 29 years and during this time, QCCS has seen a lot of changes and aims to be at the forefront of industry developments and trends.

Bethania Early Education Centre and Pre-School is located across the road from the Blue Care Residential Aged Care Facility and a short 450m walk from the Bethania Train Station. Our aim is to provide the highest standard of care to staff, the families, as well as to the children who are within our care. Our Centre celebrates diversity, welcoming families and staff with different cultures and backgrounds.

Position details & requirements

Providing strong foundations for children’s learning and development is of top priority for Early Childhood Teachers. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team and run the Kindergarten program in our Centre. An Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for planning the daily program for the children in the Kindergarten room following the QKLG and teacher guidelines. You must have strong communication skills and be able to build a strong rapport with all families, children and our community. You must also be able to meet the below criteria;

• Hold a current blue card
• Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood (or equivalent)
• OR hold a Diploma in Early Childhood and be studying a relevant Bachelor
• OR have completed at least 50% of a relevant Bachelor
• Hold a current first aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis training
• Hold an Open Queensland Drivers Lisence
• Be motivated & enthusiastic
• Hold a current first aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis training
• Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care
